Shantae gba dance sprites full#
I'd very much appreciate a full patch, that has the (better) GBC palette and the GBA bonusesįor all 4 of these games actually (and more, if there are more)
Shantae gba dance sprites Patch#
that patch forces GBC palette, but you have to have the emulator set to GBA to start with.

Hmmm, not exactly what i was looking for. On a related note as much as I hate linking wikipedia they appear to have a nice list of super game boy games which is usually the next question after finding out about all of this That I can recall most "enhancements" if they could be called as such extended to a rejigged colour palette which given the original GBAs screen probably does not work all that well (see all the work that has gone into recolouring GBA games in the last year or two ) I have no straight up list though and I did not even know about Shantae before you mentioned it.

Tested on VBA 1.7.2 (as merged files created with goombafront) and M3 Movie Player ( this version, as a separate goomba.gba and roms), both gave me the same results.^that covers a bunch of DS games with enhancements although there are a few missing details in places (the Japanese only advance wars dual pack for instance), I recall another thread as well I think by Hanfuda.Īs for the GBA enhanced GBC stuff you might want to have a look back at some of the old threads from the first few releases of goomba color on the GBA (pocketheaven naturally)- it is a simple detection for the GBC games to do and the option to "fake" it (one of the fun things with emulation is you often get to do things like this) and I recall a bit of discussion back then on the subject. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX v1.2: Same as Pokemon Gold. Disabling SGB borders or changing "Other Settings>Game Boy" mode fixes this problem. Pokemon Gold: State does not autoload at start (or game crashes and restarts?), no SGB border. Going to "Other Settings" and setting "Game Boy" to "GB" fixes this issue. Pokemon Red: SGB border is gone, graphical glitches (saved state in settings, coming back to menu results in black screen). Here are the results of what was happening after:

I saved a state somewhere in the game, selected 'autoload state' and restarted Goomba. It has very different behavior depending on the rom and other Goomba settings. I found a bug with the 'autoload state' function. If you use the ez flash iv client, you only get 32 Kilobytes. Thanks a lot for this, this made my day.ĮDIT 3: I replicated the issue where you get garbled graphics/freezings when you are about to run out of SRAM space.ĮDIT 4: EZ4-64.exe combined with GBATA lets you use 64 kilobytes SRAM in ez flash iv. super game boy fun at handheld.Īlso i will edit this post for bug reports/tests etc.ĮDIT: Exit to Ez Flash IV main menu works perfect.ĮDIT 2: Savestate function saves and loads fine. This way i can change the palette at every level of these games and it looks great. It is easy to convert these codes to hexadecimal. I mainly want this as i like using these (Have a look at the "Super Game Boy" section) and there are more codes at Super Game Boy Magazine. It has background, window, object 1 and object 2 from 0 to 3 with 6 digit hexadecimal. Any chance you can add this like the one kuwanger's has? Only thing i am missing is custom palette option. i am enjoying 60 fps on detective conan gbc game. I am play testing the new release and it is great so far.
